I was recently invited to the Everyday Entrepreneur seminar in Dallas hosted by Kevin Wilke of Nitro Marketing. I was skeptical at first but was assured by a trusted associate that I would walk away with some good information. You see, I have been focusing all of my attention to Network Marketing and was not sure how this information marketing seminar would be of benefit. I agreed to go and figured that if I walked away with just one thing that helped, it would be worth it.
The seminar opened with Kevin Wilke giving a short testimonial of his life and how he came to be an information marketer. His brief account of his life was actually very interesting and immediately established an atmosphere of trust, compassion and credibility. Kevin humbly admitted that his forte was not public speaking and then turned the training over to Don Osbourne. Let me tell you, Kevin made an excellent choose with Don. You will not find a better presentation anywhere!
So, enough small talk, let’s get into the content. The seminar was a hands –on overview of the Nitro Marketing Blueprint training materials. I had not had a chance to even look at the book or listen to the audio disks yet so I had no idea what I was in for. Let me tell you, I was amazed at what they revealed.
The first objective of the course was to look at common obstacles information marketers face and show them how easy a solution can be with a little guidance. Many new marketers seem to struggle with some of the technical aspects of this business such as web sites, auto-responders, shopping carts etc. These topics were explained in just enough detail that even the newest of marketers was comfortable.
The next area was choosing a niche. The idea was to narrow your niche down to a reasonable level. Obviously, targeting “fitness” would not yield the same results as targeting “women’s fitness” or “woman’s fitness over 40”. This would allow you to target a more specific market and have greater success. Some people were concerned about a niche not having a large enough market to become profitable but this obstacle was quickly overcome with some really great strategies detailing how to dig deeper into a niche and maximize profit. How to do keyword research in specific niches was also discussed so that any marketer could create laser targeted marketing content without wasting precious time or money.
As you well know, the most difficult thing to do sometimes, especially for new marketers, is driving traffic. This is something that I struggled with for quite a while. I was impressed at how well the Nitro Marketing Blueprint covered this and broke it down into easy to understand steps. PPC is great but it’s hard to pass up free traffic!
As you can see, a ton of stuff was covered at this live event. I cannot put into words what the experience was like. No stone was left unturned and everyone left uplifted, educated and empowered. The positive energy that Kevin, Don, and the whole Nitro team created was the best I have ever experienced. If you want to make some serious money in information marketing and love doing it, you have got to get the Nitro Marketing Blueprint right now! It’s all there!

Nature’s Pearl is a supplement company based right outside of Winston-Salem, NC and is owned by LeBleu water. They produce a health food product based solely on the Muscadine Grape seed. This particular grape is known for its ability to thrive in the hot, humid and disease-prone climate of the Southeastern United States. These growing conditions make Muscadine grapes very different from common grapes grown for wine production, which are commonly grown in cooler, milder and less stressful climates. Because the grapes have developed defenses in this harsh environment, many believe that the Muscadine grape produces more disease-fighting phenolic compounds (ANTIOXIDANTS), therefore making it a good health food supplement.
The company first marketed the Nature’s Pearl supplement in retail outlets. Although this distribution method was reasonably successful, they eventually pulled the product out of retail establishments and switched to Multi-Level Marketing. The executives at Nature’s and LeBleu water consulted with several network marketing experts before settling on a compensation plan and distributor structure they felt would best promote the business. This new structure seems to keep product costs reasonable with modest distributor pay-outs. The compensation plan stops paying after 8 levels deep and does seem to prevent unproductive distributors from profiting from the system, regardless of positioning.
The product, compensation plan and structure all seem to be relatively well planned. One area of interest is the marketing training provided by the company to its distributors. Nature’s Pearl is relatively new in the world of network marketing and has therefore focused all of its attention on educating the distributor about the product features and benefits. Although these things are important, distributors also need to be educated on how to produce a continuous income with the business. The majority of marketing training that has been provided is based on off-line strategies such as prospecting friends and family, buying leads, cold calling etc.
A recent move by Nature’s Pearl to improve its profitability has been the introduction of a company owned by Phil Romano, known for his incredible success in the restaurant industry. This new company has somehow been allowed to move to the top spot above the entire NP down-line. Mr. Romano, has wisely recruited the MLM Mastermind Robert Blackman to oversee his new business venture.
All of this seems like a great move by the executives at Nature’s Pearl, but how does it affect the average distributor? Well, initially it appeared that the strong financial backing of Phil Romano and expertise of Robert Blackman was going to be the extra push and motivation they needed. Typically money and experience will drive success in any environment, but how will it effect the average distributor in this case? I would say “results may vary”.
With the overwhelming success of the internet, common MLM techniques tend to be incomplete without heavily leveraging cutting-edge on-line strategies. It seems that rather than training the down-line in modern network marketing methods, the new leadership has elected to offer the distributors the opportunity to purchase leads and perpetuate a strategy that involves cold calling prospects. They will of course offer a replicated web site with this new monthly membership, but with the new Google crack-downs, will those sites really be of any benefit to anyone? This new system will of course be optional with an additional fee on top of the current auto-ship requirements. I understand why they are charging for the leads, but it would benefit the distributors more to include the new replicated web site feature with the fee that many distributors already pay Nature’s Pearl for a web site.
To sum this up, I still feel that money can be made in Nature’s Pearl by those who do not depend solely on the company to educate them in marketing. Robert Blackman is probably one of the best when it comes to off-line marketing, but is that enough? That will be for you to decide.
As for me, I found that off-line marketing was exhausting and unrewarding. I have discovered that I really enjoy networking through the internet and the flexibility it gives me. I suggest that if you find yourself struggling with this or any MLM, that you check out the benefits of internet marketing before you throw in the towel. Maybe you just need a little help.

Bankruptcy is a disease that has pushed its way through this country over the recent years. This is a dilemma that is really dependant on some basic things. Just like bad eating habits, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, and stress can damage our immune system; our financial immune system had to be weakened to let bankruptcy in. Over spending, bad investing, and over all poor judgment has damaged this nation’s financial system so severely that many people are facing financial collapse.
I don’t know how you feel, but I see bankruptcy as a final option. If filing bankruptcy is ultimately caused by not having enough money to cover debts, we should be thinking of ways to generate more income before we choose to have our debts and credit wiped away. If income is a problem before bankruptcy, it will likely be a problem afterwards. I remind you that you should exercise proper financial judgment regardless of your income level. The temptations I spoke of previously don’t go away with increased income, they only get bigger. Don’t be stupid twice!
So, you may be asking the question, “How do I increase my income to avoid bankruptcy”? Well, that’s a good question. It changes to some degree from person to person. I wish I could tell you I had a secret formula but I don’t. You must make a choice that you are of greater value, demanding more income than ever before. This may seem a bit odd but it’s the law of the land. We all tend to have pre-determined ideas of our value and settle for too little. If you are used to earning $25k per year, feeling you are worth $250k per year may seem crazy. You will have to break this psychological barrier on your own. I had to, and you will also. Of course, you will have to make some changes in what you do. It starts with a decision though.
I truly want to help you. I have experienced some very difficult financial times myself. If not, I would not feel so compelled to write this stuff. I could have told you about bankruptcy laws and how they apply to your situation but that would not challenge the root problem. The truth is that you really need a sense of value regardless of what situation you are in. You need to find a system to create wealth that reflects your self-worth. You must start nourishing your inner being with something that will change the way you see things. Seeking out information that alters the way you handle a one situation is good. Seeking out information that alters the way you see every situation is best.
Visit my blog and I will try and help you regardless of where you are at.
